Milling Machine

This course will be an introduction to the world of industrial manufacturing and maintenance.  The infrastructure of America, as we know it today, runs because of manufactured goods and advancements in technology.  Almost every good that is possessed or consumed was manufactured or processed before it reached the end user.  For that component to be created or processed, there were engineers, machine operators, electricians, machinists, maintenance workers, quality control technicians, and logistics professionals involved in the production and delivery.  In this course we will dive deeper into the process of manufacturing including precision measurement, blueprint reading, Conventional and CNC machining processes, cutting tool types and selection, and Computer Aided Drafting and Design.
